We tend to spend more time on the water than on land when we are in the keys, but we do have a list of fun places to visit throughout the Florida Keys.
Upper Keys
We have spent the least amount in the Upper Keys, but we do try to make a stop at Worldwide Sportsman (MM81.5) on each trip.
Middle Keys
During our last trip the weather wasn’t as great as we are used to, so we spent more time on land. Here are some great places to visit.
Long Key State Park (MM67.5): A lovely hiking trail and beach

Curry Hammock State Park (MM56.2): Offer nature tours with Park Rangers
The Turtle Hospital (MM48.5): Offer guided educational tours of their facility where you can leave about what they do and you can feed some of the turtles.

Old 7 Mile Bridge & Pigeon Key (MM47): Old 7 Mile Bridge is a 2 mile bridge/trail that leads to Pigeon Key. It does cost to access Pigeon Key, but it allows you full access to the island for the day if you pay their fee. Even if you don’t visit Pigeon Key, the walk on the bridge is well worth it.

Lower Keys

Key West Butterfly & Nature Conservatory

Southernmost Point of the Continental USA
