When I think adventure, one of the first things that comes to mind is travel. But travel, especially by plane can be very expensive. So that is why I love American Airlines AAdvantage eShopping. It is a way to gain extra air miles with the online shopping that you are already doing.
How it works
I found out about the website in November and was able to use it while doing a lot of my holiday shopping. It is fairly easy to use. If you are shopping online from a computer, there is a browser extension that you can add. So as you browse different websites, there is a pop up that will show up and alert you that you can get either a bulk amount of miles or a certain number of miles per dollar spent at the website you are currently visiting. Once you click on the alert, it tracks any purchase you make. It will also look for promo codes that may be able to be applied to the purchase as well. It is truly that simple.
You can also get to AAdvantage eShopping through the American Airlines app. The other nice piece is that retailers change the amount of miles you can earn at different times of the year. So during the holiday season when they know people are looking for good deals, you may get more miles for your purchases. In the 2 months that I have been using AAdvantage, I have earned 35,000 miles.
With American Airlines changing their AAdvantage status program for 2022, it also means that earning miles this way helps you gain status with American Airlines.
