Charlotte Area Adventures: Veronet Vineyards & Winery

brown corks on clear wine glass

Not too far south of Charlotte, there is a beautiful winery called Veronet Vineyards & Winery. I don’t consider myself a wine drinker, but I still love to visit wineries, take part in a tasting and maybe have a glass or two if I find something I like. More often than I not, I just love the atmosphere at wineries.

Veronet Vineyards & Winery

This winery is located 30 minutes outside of Charlotte in Kings Mountain and it opened in 2019. I have been to there a handful of times and have enjoyed every visit. It is a great way to get out of the city, slow down a bit and take in the beautiful scenery.

They have made some additions to the property since they opened and they continue to enhance the outdoor seating area. There is a back porch with couches, Adirondack chairs and plenty of picnic tables with umbrellas all overlooking the vineyard with a lovely view of Crowders Mountain.

Offerings

Veronet does a good job at having something for everyone. If you aren’t fond of wine, they make some specialty cocktails with their wines, offer NC craft beers, sparkling water and soda. They also have charcuterie boards for purchase and typically have a food truck on site as well.
